"I think a beaver knocked this tree over... I see the marks!" Thank you to our parent volunteers who made our field study at Inglewood possible. We were so fortunate to have such beautiful weather for our field study!
We learned about coyotes, bumble bees, deer and ducks. We learned where they live, what they eat and some interesting facts about these creatures. We also made puppets and saw some animal artifacts. We went on a nature walk through the forest and along the river. We saw animal tracks, ducks and geese flying in the air as well as animal scat. Here are some questions you can ask your child: Ask your child what animal evidence they saw. Ask your child how animals adapt for the winter. Ask your child what animal scat is. Ask your child what the difference between a zoo and a sanctuary is.
